Movie Review:
The Shape of Water
Identity Conflict in People of Mixed Cultural Backgrounds
This is a review of the film, The Shape of Water. I wanted to explore the various aspects of movie review writing beyond the superficial, by analysing the acting and plot of the movie without giving away the whole movie. Doing so is good preparation for professional reviewing.
This is a research essay written for my Comm 170 course, exploring identity conflict in people of mixed cultural backgrounds. The essay explores the way people of mixed cultural backgrounds navigate the disparities between their dual identities throughout their lifetimes.
Creative Writing
These are two short stories I wrote in my communications and media program. The first is a little Halloween-themed comedy, and the second is a satirical look at a potential dystopian future.
